Futuristic Tunnel
Created a modern and elegant e-gift card for Intenza Brand Boutique. Emphasized minimalism and premium aesthetics with a sleek black holder and a dynamic, fitness-inspired card image to reflect the brand’s active lifestyle identity.
Year :
2023
Industry :
Film
Client :
Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne
Project Duration :
5 weeks

Objective :
The goal of this project was to create my own fictional user interface (FUI) — a 3D animated environment that could exist in a sci-fi setting. The challenge was to design something that felt functional and immersive, using procedural animation, lighting, and motion to give a sense of digital depth and technological realism.

Initial Idea and Intent :
My initial concept was to build a data tunnel or digital corridor, where information appears to travel through an abstract, machine-like environment. I wanted the viewer to feel as if they were inside a high-tech system or transmission channel, a mix between architecture and data visualization. The design combines repeating geometric forms, emissive materials, and animated lights to suggest a flow of energy or communication inside a futuristic interface.
Challenge :
One of the main challenges was achieving visual complexity without overloading the scene. I used effectors, cloners, and fields in Cinema 4D to generate repeating structures procedurally, allowing for a detailed look while keeping the workflow efficient. Lighting was also key, balancing the dark metallic tones with strong colored highlights (such as cyan and magenta) helped define the depth and motion of the space.

Summary :
To tie it together, I adjusted camera motion and timing to give the animation a smooth sense of travel through the corridor, creating the illusion of data movement within a digital system.
